Tam’s Gift follows the story of one monster, Tam and their struggle to find the thing they are brilliant at. The film touches upon issues of self-esteem, not feeling “good enough” and comparing ourselves to others. It also focuses on celebrating what makes us special and unique and that isn’t always something we can do, but the person we are and the things we enjoy. The film champions qualities such as being a good listener, a good friend and giving things a try.

 Tam’s Gift and the accompanying workshops Making Your Own Monster Puppet reflect the theme of Mentally Healthy Schools World Mental Health Day theme in 2020 – Same But Different.
