I’ll be performing Work In Progress at Scratch|Meet #4

I’m really excited to be sharing 15 mins of Work In Progress at Scratch|Meet #4 on 14th September.

In all honesty, it’s been quite a few years since I’ve performed new work in front of real people. This was the case even before the pandemic. I wasn’t making work in the same way as I used to, I had really lost my confidence in the quality and I was scared of sharing. But slowly and surely I’ve been trying to give myself more space to work, more time to make tiny steps and I have given myself permission to be scared and to express that fear.

I’ve never felt so vulnerable than I have making this piece but I can feel it starting to really bloom into something that is genuinely a little exciting.
